The Three Muses #32 in watercolour (which I've called Pears for simplicity sake on the actual piece). It took me all day to complete this painting due to drying times. I started with the background first, adding a design texture to the table cloth and using salt flakes for the background. I used masking fluid on the pears to do last. When lifting up the masking fluid, I tore the background (which was still damp) and had to use double sided tape to mend it. I was bummed about this but then considered it could be part of the texture. I hope whomever wins it doesn't mind the additional element!
