Mermaid and Merman

My friend Cat lives in South America living this bohemian lifestyle and teaching yoga. I envy her freedom and her ability to embrace life and all that it has to offer. When I saw a photo of her just hanging out in the beautiful tropical waters searching for shells with her friend, my first thought was Wow! They remind me of a couple of mermaids/mermen. So I got permission and painted it. I'm quite pleased with how it turned out. The thumbnail really lets you see how I've captured the water in this.
