I'm seeing squares!

Or chequers really. I spent ages on this gingham bear, named Benjamin. Now it's dark and another day spent inside painting rather than exploring. I will have to change that tomorrow!

"Jelly Belly, Jelly Beans" Hi Paula -- I just want you to know how I love your painting. I went to the States. actually for a memorial service for my favorite Aunt. I asked me sister to try to resist opening the package that would arrive from UK and she did resist. So at just the right time we opened it together. Just a delight. I'm going to have it framed in a rather generous frame -- I think it will look good with a wide border. I'm an artist too and just went to the Daily Painters site on a whim when somebody in the Wet Canvas forum mentioned it. Your painting just jumped out at me, and why not -- the subject, the colours and really nicely done. It's the first time I've bought a painting from any site. I hope you have a lot of luck with this.
