Fishin'

Fishin'
Oil on board
6 x 6 inches

For the reflection challenge. I started off using cremnitz white in the background but ran out so used a very buttery Flemish white I had on hand, which is also lead based but not stringy like the cremnitz. You can see the difference in the buttery consistency of it in the reflections. I also tried out a different medium called Galkyd Lite by Gamblin. It's states in the description that it's ready to use and lighter so that it leaves brushs marks. Good for painting outdoors. I notice that it dries fast though like the other mediums I've used like Liquin (W&N) and Neo Megilp (Gamblin).
