| White Rose Oil on board 6 x 6 inches
Roses I find very difficult to do. The reason being that there are so many layers and shadows that you have to get just right for them to be believable. Compared with others paintings of the same rose, I noticed that I put in a lot more light into my paintings than other artists. It's funny how every artists sees the same subject differently.
